How to cook it

Rinse well, then cook 1 part rice to 2.5 parts water. Bring to the boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 35–40 minutes. Remove from heat and rest for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork. Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables, curries, stews and stir-fries.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Best used within 6 months of opening. Brown rice has a shorter shelf life than white rice due to its natural oils.
